The Acoustic Master Guitar Pickup System

The Amazing! Acoustic Master Guitar Microphone

For this demo, a dinamic microphone was placed 15 feet away from the guitar.

The sound of the guitar was recorded with the pickup system and then without it. The Amp used is a simple small keyboard amp (Korg Amp) which was paced by the side of the chair used by the performer.

This audio file is a 22kHz 16bit QuickTime highly compressed sample which makes streaming possible.

"Last year I started looking for some kind of hybrid electric/acoustic nylon string guitar that would be just loud enough to accompany a flute player in small venues. I couldn't find anything good enough accoustically so ended up buying a classical guitar with a very good balanced sound. Not wanting to have holes drilled in my new guitar for a pickup,

I started checking the internet for some other option. That's when I found the "Acoustic Master by Raymond Lohengrin. Being intrigued by the concept of a saddle pickup that I could just slide in, I ordered one. My first impressions were good as it arrived well wrapped and professionally packaged.

I proceded to slide my old saddle out and the Acoustic Master saddle pickup in. In 5 minutes I was trying it out. After some adjusting of the amp controls I heard the very natural sound of my guitar coming out. As a matter of fact it was hard to detect where the guitar left off and the amp took over. It didn't sound like an amplified " classical guitar - just a very loud one, which is exactly what I was looking for Last but not least, I found Raymond to be very honest and accomodating with my questions and concerns durng the time of puchase. Thanks for a great product, Raymond."

Acoustic Master ST model

"I have played my classical guitar for many years now, and a few times I toyed with the idea of adding a pickup to it to see how it sounded through an amp. But Ive had this guitar for over 25 years and it is as immaculate now as it was when it was new. So I was reluctant to cut a big hole in my guitar to add a gaudy preamp/EQ. But as I was looking into pickups and preamps, I found the Acoustic Master system by Raymond Lohengrin, and it sounded like just what I was looking for. I did have to drill 2 small holes in my guitar (ST model), one for the saddle cable and one where the normal end pin would be, but they were both well hidden, and there were no knobs or slide controls to deal with. Well, after I installed the Acoustic Master, I was truly amazed at the natural classical sound quality that came from the amp, and with no preamp. Thank you Raymond Lohengrin"
