Gestalt therapy is process-oriented; it is particularly well-suited to the new millennium. Understanding and dealing with ourselves and our world in this period will, we believe, require new, non-classical approaches to therapy and to living in general. Gestalt therapy provides such an approach. We take as fundamental that individuals have the need for and ability to empower themselves in their interactions with an often unsupportive world. We make this belief concrete with profound respect for personal limits; this orientation also provides the means and support for transcending those limits.
Strict confidentiality is observed about any work that happens in or outside the group setting.
Opportunities for individual work or supervision with Gestalt Center staff members before or after training may be arranged by appointment.
Gestalt Therapeutic Communication Training is designed for people who are not psychotherapists. This group is open to anyone interested in communicating more effectively, whether in their work, community service, or personal lives.
