Insider's information about concert costs: The 60 singers of the Master Chorale volunteer their time (960 to 1200 rehearsal hours per concert) as well as more than $4,500 per season in dues and music costs. The minimal cost for a concert is about $8,000; with a large orchestra and soloists, the cost could run to more than $12,000. * GCC is also seeking corporate sponsors who would be willing to underwrite in full, or in part, the cost of one of our season concerts.
