Rehearsal schedule

Rehearsals for the Master Chorale are Monday evenings 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. in room 120 of the Music Building (MUB) on the University of Florida campus unless announced otherwise for special occasions.

The Chorus will be rehearsing as usual on 12/10 and 12/17. After the holidays, rehearsals resume on 1/7/08. We will have a busy spring with a lot of music to learn!

Information on Messiah, Lecanto, and the Choristers
I. MESSIAH in Gainesville: Dress rehearsal is Friday, 07 December, from 7-10pm at the First United Methodist Church (419 NE 1 St). Parking is available behind the building, across the street in the Suntrust lot, along the street, and in the municipal lots behind Holy Trinity.

The concert is Saturday, 08 December. Curtain is 7:30, and call time is TBA (6:30 at the earliest). Standard concert dress - tuxes and black dresses. Parking is the same, although we ask that those who are able-bodied enough to park down the road behind Holy Trinity and walk the few blocks to please do so, so that our patrons are able to find a parking place when they come to hear the performance.

II. MESSIAH in Lecanto: The concert starts at 5:00; Our call is to be there ready to go at 4:00. Transportation is on your own - if you NEED a ride, please contact Janet Cornelius, 372-2691, corneliu@ufl.edu and let her know; likewise, if you are able to GIVE a ride, please let her know how many seats you have available. III. The Choristers will give their Christmas concert on Saturday, 15 December, 7:30pm at Holy Trinity Church (100 NE 1 St). Singers from all sections are welcome to join us in celebrating the holidays - you only need to be able to stick around on Monday evening for a little longer (putting up with my bad jokes is optional). If you don't want to sing, please try to make plans to attend the concert.
