During the 1994-95 school year, over 3,600 workshop spaces were filled in over 150 workshops. Over 100 scholarships were donated in our county-wide program. GACA's faculty numbered over 70.
"I expect my grandchildren, and their children, and their children after that--'til the end of time--to be taking GACA courses. This extraordinary program is one of those things that should always be here in Gainesville."
"My child went from an F to a C- after taking one of your after-school workshops. He has a different feeling now about going to school. I bet that C- will rise." -- Middle-school mother
"I am so pleased that such good things are being done [by the GACA] with the much-needed funds ] of the Safe Schools Act]." -- Florida Representative Cynthia Chestnut
"I can't tell you how much GACA scholarships have meant to our family. Our children have been able to participate in ballet, karate, drama, writing, and so much more. We are so grateful."
Please help the children of our community take part in our workshops in the arts. If you want to join other concerned individuals, businesses, and agencies in the community, please fill out and mail the scholarship donation form.
