We invite you to participate on our panel of perioperative health care
providers, manufacturers, distributers, purchasing agents, surgical services
managers, and consultants.





Goals
1. Provide an open forum for industry and health care providers to discuss their critical issues and challenges.

2. Develop strategies to enhance cost management opportunities.

3. Provide mechanisms to share information and evaluate new technology. Enhance Florida Council Industry/Advisory website.

4. Discuss communication pathways for non-contract products.

A Brief History of IAC Forums

 * The Industry Advisory Committee hosted
the first round table discussion at the FCORN Summer
Meeting, Friday July 18th, at Turnberry Isle, North Miami.

 * Thirty-five nurses, material managers,
distributors, and manufacturer representatives
attended the open forum. The following Objectives were
established for future forums to be held.


  • Create a WEB page to provide a format to present new products and offer a consumer report about new products and technology.
  • Encourage material managers to participate in FCORN activities.
  • Identify specialty surgical products that fall in the "GAP" that are not adequately delineated by contracts.
