As a state level representative association, the Florida Council elects officers to represent our members. Currently, the officers and chairpersons of our committees are:
 

AORN Chapters have been the traditional level of local organization. Chapter members are assigned to a chapter based on their location. Chapters establish their own bylaws, elect officers, hold meetings to: conduct chapter business and present continuing education and discuss issues affecting nursing in general and Perioperative Nursing in particular, and work to provide education to the general public about the role of a Perioperative RN. Chapter Presidents are the primary contact person for their Chapters.
