Dear City Commissioner Nichols:
This site is available to you to present your views regarding the planned Newberry Cement Plant. Anything that you want to present will be placed at this site without limitation of space, editing of content or censorship of any kind.
You are, under the fairness guidelines that we at FACT adhere to, entitled to a space to rebut any erroneous information or to elaborate on the reasons that you believe that the cement plant represents a good future for Alachua County.
We encourage you to use this forum to let the public know what is and what was in your mind and heart when you voted to approve the placement of this plant in the County. In a democratic process it is essential that the public understand what their elected representatives think and feel and how they make decisions. Only with free access to such information can the public elect officials that can represent it effectively.
