DARE --Dedicated Alternative Resources for the Elderly
Purposes of DARE
- Study and recommend areas of public policy
- Perform research and development for area-wide aging programs
- Collect and provide information affecting the aging network
- Conduct special and on-going aging programs
- Conduct training and make referrals of caregivers to the elderly and
their families
- Conduct seminars and workshops to enhance management and service
delivery capabilities of agencies and organizations serving older persons
- Carry out such other activities as are consistent with the
charitable, educational, and scientific purposes of DARE in ways that
benefit older persons
