Welcome to Dan's page.
Being a good dad for
daughter Melissa
and son David
is the most important part of my life.

David and Melissa at a summer party in 1998.
Melissa and Moo-moo the cat.
David won first place in the Alachua County Scholastic Chess Association chess tournament March 7, 1998, in the kindergarten through 2nd grade novice class. The picture shows David on the right, with Justin Stephenson, another winner, on the left, and Dr. Diana Lagotic, his Norton Elementary School principal.
Here are my parents, world travellers Dan and Grace Cromer of Lakeland, Florida.
My church is the Hawthorne First United Methodist Church.
Here's my Edmunds High, Sumter, SC, class of 1961 page.
Working with computers and networks is my second love. I'm the Acting Director of Information Technology for the Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences at the University of Florida.
Perhaps tied for second best of my interests is flying, especially gliders. I'm a cadet orientation pilot for the Civil Air Patrol and a member of the Soaring Society of America.
And I'm a big fan of Dilbert, Rose is Rose, Luann, and Peanuts from United Media comics.
As a technical support volunteer for the Alachua FreeNet, I occasionally use this page for testing. This test page may or may not work.
