I live in North Central Florida near Gainesville, and work for the University of Florida
as a electrical engineer.  Although I have quite a few hobbies, such as ham radio, hiking, RC aircraft, sailing, and re-enacting the Revolutionary War, I am spending more and more time with telescopes.

I build my own focusers and spiders, mounting rings, and other telescope related hardware.

I am in the process of acquiring  machine tools to facilitate the above...and to design and build components for those who want them.
