A Vacation Diary

I took some photos in my neighbor,
the 11th arrt., including some men playing boules. Then I went to dinner
at an Indian (Mohit) restaurant nearby that I hadn't been to before. I
ordered à la carte and enjoyed the 137 F meal. I took pictures around
the 11th, the Bastille district or arrondisement, on other days, including
Saint-Ambroise Cathedral which recently had its facade cleaned. The 11th
is on the east end of Paris. The place de la Bastille, the place de la
Nation, and the place de la République form three of the four corners of the rectangle that make up the district. The Bastille on the southwest end, the République on the north and the Nation on the southeast end.
