I earned my private pilot certificate just over three years ago, and I speculate it will be one of the greatest moments of my life. Aviation is an amazing and wonderful experience that I would love to share with everyone. My next aviation challenge will be to earn my instrument rating. I also began hang gliding last summer and hope to pursue that when I actually have some time and money.

GTE DUATS. GTE DUATS on the Web provides immediate on-line access to U.S. Federal Aviation Administration approved information such as weather information, and flight planning.AOPA Online. I have been an AOPA member for about three years now. Aside from the wonderful magazine subscription, AOPA is a great advocate for general aviation. If you are not a member you should consider. Either way their web site is quite a useful resource.
NTSB. No, I don't have a fascination with death. The general aviation accident reports that the NTSB release can be a valuble tool in which one pilot can learn from another pilot's mistakes.
The Aviation Home Page. Do I need to say more? This is the best collection of aviation web sites around the world--from flight simulators to the Air Force, this site has it all!

Omaha ATC. Omaha! LIVE ATC ON THE WEB WITH REALAUDIO. With the real audio plugin you can listen in on the air traffic in Nebraska.
The Hundred Dollar Hamburger. Every pilot I know suffers from the same syndrome of attempting to make flight a practicality or give it some purpose or challenge, even if it's just lunch. On many occasions I have had my own $100 hamburger.
How Far is it?. This site contains an extensive database of world cities to find the latitude and longitude of two places, and then calculates the distance between them (shortest linear distance utilizing a displaced parameterized curve on the sphere known as earth, or simply as the crow flies).

Wallaby Ranch. This is where I had my first and only hang gliding experience. I flew two tandem aero-tows over the beautiful scenic wilderness of central Florida.
