Jane CLAYTON is listed in Martha Winstead's WINSTEAD Book as Jane CLAYTON BOWLES RHEW when she married John Cobb CLAYTON. So we assume that Jane's was married first to a BOWLES, we don't know of any children . Next she was married to a RHEW. They had 2 sons, Robert T. born in NC about 1861 and Jessee L. born in NC about 1868. These sons are listed in the 1880 census as stepsons of John Cobb CLAYTON
