March 23, 1999 - Initial flagging

Today Joe and I met with Ed Mendel, our builder, at our lot.  We spent the afternoon trudging through poison ivy while we attempted to get a rough idea of exactly where the house will sit on the lot.  We flagged the two trees that need to be removed (as well as a stump and another tree that "should" be removed).

We refer to the current layout as "The Trapezoid Home"

(I'm still working on this digital camera thing, so the pictures are not exactly the best quality.  I hope I'll get better at this while the process moves along.)

	This is a shot of the lot facing to the North.  The road curves to West, which is our North property line
	See the stump?  That is slightly behind the back edge of the house.  The stump will be removed during the initial site prep. This is pretty much where the house will be located.
	Here's Joe holding the end of the 100' tape.  The house is approximately 65' square.  That's Kurt and Heather's house behind the red Explorer.
