Sequence Splitting

Main Page
Now, on to splitting further the sequences. The example used
earlier of the sequence of 222-222-2's lift sensation: 5-6, where now
splitting 6 three ways is possible by realizing a pattern of the formulas.
Sequence splitting and inter-relationships of chord, since both of these
may have repeated values, the possible combinations are too numerous to
list. The count would be 7^6 which is 117,649. Fortunately, there is an
order; where there are splits or values added and they total up to certain
values it would be associated under that specific category. Splitting a
sequence value of 6 two ways the numbers need to total 5 or 12, splitting
three ways the numbers need to total 4, 11, or 18, and to split 4 ways the
numbers need to total 3, 10, 17, or 24. Simply put, for each additional
split, subtract 1 from the sequence value, (if you have reached 0, one
less becomes 6) that and adding multiples of seven are the totals sought.

        If you prefer,here
are the tables.

Split sequences may have the feature of being rearranged, but
the first chord and its reference determines which sensation is
prescribed, and the same with mode swings.
