Dr. Kenneth Piety, who passed away recently, had a vast experience in both psychology and Christianity. His bachelor's degree was in Bible and New Testament Greek while his masters and doctoral degrees were in psychology. His Ph.D. was in Clinical Psychology from Vanderbilt University. Dr. Piety served as the minister for numerous congregations, plus he taught in the university classroom for many years. He also worked for the Veteran's Administration Neuropsychiatric Hospital, for a Community Mental Health Center, and in private practice. His unique background provided for a special blending of the insights of pyschology and the Bible's teaching on how to live the Christian life. In these four books he attempted to interrelate these two sources of wisdom, the Bible and psychology, in order to assist the reader in achieving a good and an abundant life.
