"In-Site Informer"
Check it out!
Rumors abound, inside sources report, of sweeping changes being considered at the ultra-isoteric homepage of a peculiar entity known only by the putative personal name of its chief character, "Marshall Price," the identity of whom (or which) seems to be a jealously guarded trade secret. Even the purpose of "Marshall Price" has never been divulged.
Though "he" appears to be fleshed out with a detailed curriculum vitae and "personal" history, insiders confess utter ignorance as to whether the actual existence of the institution's mysterious namesake is fact or fiction, perhaps an experiment in Artificial Intelligence.
Only the webmaster knows what changes are in the works for this unique site, a curiously disjointed amalgam of apparently unrelated fields, and he isn't talking, except to say that he does expect the changes to "go into effect in the very near future."
The privately-owned site's minuscule Internet presence keeps it well below the radar screen of netnerds and major Internet oversight organizations, while its lack of published site statistics lead some to speculate that it may not actually be of major significance to the future direction of IT. The official intentions of "Marshall Price" appear in no known public databases and have yet to be revealed.
Conclusion: Keep your eyes on this one! No telling what's next.

As of this morning (Thurs, 2 Nov, 2000), the nation has discovered BountyQuest.com, and the Earth takes a giant leap forward! See my blog file, and my post in news:alt.inventors (if you can find it) dated this morning.
Here's my first new feature, introduced on Hallowe'en Day, 2000. It's an attempt to emulate Blogger's "blog" innovation. For the time being, I'm calling mine blog, too.
Here are excerpts from the Florida statutes mentioned in the state supreme court today, Monday, November 20, 2000, taken from the official government website, The Florida Statutes.
I just found out that Yahoo's been this way. I searched for "Accu-Tuner Sanderson," and found my home page right behind that of the company itself and The Piano Page, the home page of the Piano Technicians Guild! (If my so-called guardian had actually sent in my dues, instead of telling me not to worry, I'd be a 30-year veteran of the guild by now.)

Here's a work in progress. I'm typing up a chapter from the Jerome Biblical Commentary (© 1968). This is part of Chapter 69, presently in text form (not HTML).
Here are a few theological definitions from The Oxford Dictionary of the Christian Church, second edition. (To render them properly in Internet Explorer, choose the "Central European (DOS)" text encoding.)
Here are links to my version of the programming schedule at WLRN-FM, simplified for viewing with Lynx, the text-based browser preferred by freenets, nerds, and impatient web surfers. And here's WLRN's main site, including their TV station, channel 17 in the Miami area. The monthly schedule of Channel 17's evening specials is here.
news:alt.sci.physics.acoustics - started by Angelo Campanella - now the principal group for discussion of acoustics topics.
Here are links to Inventronics, Inc., makers of the Sanderson Accu-Tuner, and here are links to patents, including Dr Sanderson's main patent for the Accu-Tuner, US Patent #5,285,711.
Here's a 1952 article about the acoustics of piano strings, by Robert W. Young. I'd very much appreciate any help you can offer on how to present the equations better. If anybody has a URL to the article, or an HTML copy of it, that would be best. The article includes some very nice graphs, but I have no way of including them here.
Here's part of Chapter 1 of Rossing & Fletcher's Principles of Vibration and Sound.
I belong to the Alachua Free-Net in
