- A fairly easy way to earn extra credit is to do a book review.
Take the book you used for your booktalk since you know it so well and
write a review of it. The review would be similar to a movie review
like the ones in the newspaper, only it is about your book. For a good

- Write better journal letters by doing them on computer. Write one
good letter telling about your book AND using your journal handouts to
show
higher level thinking. Then just change the salutation and the opening
response to the person's letter and you can write all three letters (or
even more if
you have a lot of people writing to you) after basically writing only
one
good letter. You can even do this with the extra credit letter to your
parents
each term.
