Communications

There are many ways to keep in touch:
  • Students can see me at school. The best time is during silent reading, but we can also make arrangements to meet before school, after school, or at lunch. When possible, I encourage students to take the initiative to handle communications from home. It teaches responsibility and promotes self-esteem.
  • Parents should be able to reach me by phone. The school number is 333-2800. The best times are 8:00 to 8:55 or during planning which begins most days around 2:40. You can call any time and I will get back to you as soon as possible which is usually the same or next day. If you need to send me a written document, the school's fax number is (352)333-2806.
  • Parents can send notes, or write one in the student's Falcon Planner. Just make sure the student remembers to give it to me.
  • To set up a conference, call Ms. Ross  in the Front office at 333-2800.
  • Don't forget the Home-Phone recording which is updated weekly. The number is 955-6942 (teacher number 5202).
  • You can e-mail me at jonesbr@sbac.edu or use the link below. I check my e-mail almost every day.
  • One way or another, let's communicate!
