This is Anya, the first of two feral kittens I trapped on our deck this winter. They were both supposed to be "foster kittens", but Dave's a bigger pushover than even I imagined, and they both stayed.

Actually, when we sent Sam to go live with my folks, I worked my wiles and convinced him that four cats was a good, stable number, and since Anya was now the fourth cat, she should stay. He didn't have the strength to argue, so she stayed. She's really fun, but totally insane and not a snuggly cat - she's a cat's cat, and spends most of her time with her sister or with Skippy. But she loves to play with us, and since Skippy and Jezebel are both lap cats, she can just do her thing.
