My gut reaction:
(Standard explanation - XWP is shown at 7:30 to 8:30 Saturday over here downunder -so I have to make a big decision about what do about dinner during this time.) I MADE dinner during this episode. Didn't burn it. Ate it. Noticed what I was eating. Not a good sign.

Best scene:
I really loved the verbal sparring between X&G in the opening scene over taking care of business. Damn they are hot looking women! All down hill from there in this episode.

Most memorable line from this episode:>BR> "I'm not a hero, just an overachieving sidekick."

Asides:
This week's typo:
"Xena gets a message from Kink Lias". We all know it's the leather that brings 'em out of the woodwork.

Was this the first Lucylite ep. since the Athens Academy ep? I think so. Also I think this might have been the first time we have the Gabrielle/Joxer pairing foisted upon us. And the song!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pleeeeeze.

Summary:
Don't care if it was a homage to Danny Kaye or Princess Bride or whatever. Need to be paid dinars to watch most of this again.
