don't get much better than this. Good friends, good times. Here we pose
on a break between sessions at Ocala's MTB park. Afterward we hit
the perverbial IHOP and harassed some old country waitress that called
my "honey" and "darling" all night. Griddle cakes cure
what ails ya.
Getting ready to downhill on a volcano in Ecuador. This was definitely one of the best rides I've ever been on, but that's not saying much since I'm from Florida. We started above the snow line and rode down through a beautiful national park on mostly roads. It was at least twenty miles of pure unadulterated adrenaline and fun. For thirty bucks this company called The Flying Dutchmen, based in Quito, will take you to the coolest spots give you a suspended bike, a ride to the site and food. Quite a deal. Highlights of the ride included wild horses, snow, a good rim bending biff by a friend, the snow and unexpected washouts that you had to bunnyhop at 25 plus miles an hour and hope you'd clear them. Way fun.
