The Alien Rangers team consists of the following individuals:
Delphine - White Ranger (The leader)
Corcus - Black Ranger
Cestro - Blue Ranger
Tideus - Yellow Ranger
Aurico - Red Ranger
The Rangers live on the planet Aquitar. This planet is made up completely of water. The beings who reside there are a very intelligent race know as the Aquitians. The water on Aquitar is somewhat different from that on Earth, and the Aquitians need to have this water to survive. When the Alien Rangers, who are the protectors of their home planet, came to Earth, a great risk was taken. The Rangers were not surrounded by water all of the time, and needed to find a pure water source constantly to go through an interesting process known as rehydration. This is simply described as the Rangers 'floating' above the water and having it nourish their bodies needs. On Aquitar this never occured since water was everywhere, but on Earth, rehydration was a necessity. Without water, the Alien Rangers would gradually become weaker and weaker until they finally ceased to exist.
As Aquitians, the Alien Rangers have interesting natural abilities, of which we are familiar of three. First, they can generate explosive bolts of energy. Second, they have the power to move objects through telekiniesis, which often proved dreadful for their foes. Yet a third thing they can do is communicate through telepathy. The Power Rangers talk using their wrist communicators, but for the Alien Rangers, all they need to do is concentrate and 'visiualize' the conversation in their mind. For example, if Cestro and Delphine were seperated, and Cestro ran into a monster and needed assistance, Delphine would 'hear' her fellow Ranger's pleas for help, and could immediately come to his aid.
The above powers, however, are only the tip of the iceberg. The Rangers received their Power Coins from the great sage Ninjor over a millenia ago. The Coins are what give the Rangers there powers. Using them, they can morph and become much, much stronger. Once they are in their Ranger form, they have two weapons at their disposal. Each of them are equipped with a laser pistol and a fighting sword, which make everyone on the team very formidable warriors.
The Rangers also possess short, yet powerful swords, and a way of combat which involves spectacular Ninja style leaping. Cestro can perform a special attack known as the Aquitar Waterfall which drowns his opposition. Tideus has a wind attack that is emitted from his sword, while Corcus has a lightning attack beam from his own sword. In addition to that, when each of the Ranger's swords are put together, the Aquitar Ranger Blast obliterates anything it's path, much like the Power Ranger's Zeo Cannon.
There are times though in which that will not be enough. Times when monsters grow thus dwarfing the Rangers. This is when the easily most powerful function of their Coins needs to be utilized. They call on the giant sized machines known as Battle Borgs to even up the score. Each Ranger has their own Borg, and all of them have equal powers. The Borgs are very swift and cunning, and the Rangers use them to perfection to defeat their greatest opponents. However, the method in which they are controlled differs from how the Power Rangers control their Zords. Instead of 'driving' them, the Alien Rangers communicate with the Borgs through telepathy, and whatever moves the Rangers make, the Borgs will do the same. This makes the Borgs, without a doubt, the most flexible fighting machines ever.
Along with their own Battle Borgs, the Alien Rangers had additional assault machines while on Earth. Zordon and Alpha made it possible for them to access the Power Ranger's very own ShogunZords. These Zords are very similar to the Borgs in appearance, though they are considerably larger. Since the Aquitians were somewhat unfamiliar with the Zord technology though, instead of fighting in each of them alone, the Zords were all combined to form the Shogun MegaZord. The Alien Rangers made good use of what was to them, a foreign piece of machinery. Also, if it were necessary, they Rangers also could combine the FalconZord with the Shogun MegaZord to form the Shogun MegaFalconZord, which proved to be the ultimate weapon for the Alien Rangers.
