THE OLD REPUBLIC

The Old Republic had been in existence for so long that there were no records of it's founding. It was an Alliance of worlds, governed by a senate of elected representatives. The galactic peace was kept by the Jedi Knights, servants of the people.

Then came the time of the Empire. An ambitious Senator, Palpatine, corrupted the ideals of the Old Republic for his own gain. He ordered the destruction of the Jedi Knights and set up a new order, taking The Dark Lord of The Sith, Darth Vader, as his right hand man.
