THE NEW REPUBLIC

The New Republic rose like the phoenix from the ashes of the Empire. However, like all infernos, it took the fire that was the Empire many years to die away - the Galaxy is a big place and many pockets of Imperial Resistance remained after Endor.

The remains of the Empire were not the only problem the New Republic had to face. With a lack of a clearly identifiable enemy, political infighting begun. Warriors found themselves with no more open wars to fight. And relationships forged in the heat of battle are tested by the presence of peace. The problems of the New Republic (aka The Rebels) were in no way over at the Battle of Endor.
