Kathy has lived in Alaska since 1983. She really gets into the freezing cold and 20 hour nights of the great north. The family photo here is Kathy (on the right), Nordic (her faithful mixed breed dog), Woodrow T. Wilson (he's got one doggy for a grandfather), Bob (attacking Woodrow's leg), and Dylan (he's doing his camouflage bit in Kathy's lap). Kathy has a new wolf named Raven who wasn't around for this picture but is about two years old and doing a nice job of eating every stationary object in her yard.
Here's a recent picture of Kathy and Raven. This was taken during a Ski Jouring competition, which involves being pulled around on skis by dogs. (Yes, Raven is officially a dog.) Our heroic team lost to a schnauzer when Raven was distracted by a rabbit.
