One of my favorite places to go in Gainesville is the Wine and Cheese Gallery. It's downtown on Main Street. A lot of funny things happen there. They serve nifty lunches, and during the afternoon you can sit on the patio and eat cheeseboards. Friday afternoons they have a happy hour. Everyone gets kicked out at seven. Nobody knows why. During summer it's beautiful to sit under the shade trees, enjoy a nice glass of wine and talk ourselves silly.
