As a new project here at Honalee Ranch, I am starting a new
registry.
The Mush-Footed Dink Society will be for those special horses in this
world who
have white
feet. Any breed of horse or pony will qualify to be in this
registry as
long as it has two or
more white feet. I have many horses that meet the criteria and
they are
all fine-footed creatures.The Mush-Footed Dink Society
stems from an
argument
with a friend about the relative merits of white and dark feet. It can be
frustrating always
defending those we love, so now there is a real registry set up
especially for your most
worthy "friends". Any one who wants to register their horse in The Mush-Footed Dink Society should send e-mail to the comments and suggestions address
below.
Registering your horse will get you a certificate of registration and
bragging
rights about your barn pal, because of his white feet or in spite of
them. I hope to start a
newsletter for members soon. This newsletter will contain information
about feet and their
care, but also stories, amusing anecdotes and remedies provided by the
members.
