Fiction

There are far too many good fiction books out there on animals to list them all. Black Beauty, Lad, and The Incredible Journey are a few of the classics. Rather than even attempt to catalog them I am only listing books which while they are not well known they are classics in own rights. Beautiful Joe's Paradise, or The Island of Brotherly Love by Marshall Saunders published by Grosset & Dunlap, c1930. A sequel to Beautiful Joe (listed under non-fiction). This book is a lovely story about where animals go after death. It is very similiar to the story entitled "Rainbow Bridge".
