If you look at the shoes I wear, you'll see that they are run of the mill and all cost less than $150. I'm gay but I don't obsess about shoes or hang out at Nordstrom.
I like being gay and vanilla. I don't get leather, fisting and water sports, which has the opposite effect of making me want to hurl and gives gays a bad image.

Not all gay men who appear feminine and pretty are so because they've groomed themselves that way. Some of us were actually born that way!
Why do gay men say they don't want a relationship, ruin relationships for their close friends because they can't stand to see them happily in one, think that there's always one better out there for them when there probably isn't, or act like relationships between two men is "straight-woman" behavior? If you're going to continue to live life acting this way, you may as well settle for being alone for the rest of it, and miserable!
The only people who frequent bars these days are computer illiterate and/or high on meth/G.
If the Democrats controlling Congress is supposedly better for gays, why is it that I only hear about gay Republicans (e.g., Mark Foley, Lindsey Graham, Larry Pressler, Jim Kolbe)? Aren't there any gay Democrats besides Barney Frank, Tammy Baldwin and the late Gerry Studds?
Wake up twinks! Our sub-culture is maturing and is becoming more accepted and therefore integrated into mainstream culture. Not to mention that most people find their dates (or is that tricks) online. Therefore, gay bars are going to continue to become less important and will slowly close over the next 20 years as they have over the last 10 years as these dynamics continue to unravel. The party is over before it even started for you girls! Thank goodness I was out and partying as a twink in the early 1990s while it was still fun.

We want more than just empty limited encounters with losers. We're tired of spending nights cruising the bars every weekend instead of sharing life with someone at home!
It amazes me when gay people don't support the war in Iraq. This is a country where gay people are executed for no other reason than being born gay, where state-sponsored "religious police" walk the streets and would arrest you for holding your lover's hand, where hatred and bigotry are taught to young children in the schools. Next stop: Iran.
You are all quite entertaining. It must suck to be as bitter as some of you and I wish I was as funny as some of you. I am just a boring person. Thanks for being your bitter/funny freaky selves!

After decades of being treated as a second-class citizen by my family, I finally divorced them. That being said, I highly recommend to all gay folks that if they are constantly being judged, mistreated or denied inclusion into their family, that they keep their distance from their family. You are probably not going to change anyone’s mind about your sexuality, so live your life in a positive manner and never, ever second guess who you are just because a relative or friend disagrees with your sexual orientation.
