Meditations on Chanting and More

Lord Caitanya considered the congregational chanting of the holy names to be the prime benediction for humanity at large.
His devotees, as you can see, become quite happy by this simple process of singing and dancing.
Lord Caitanya is freely giving the opportunity for this happiness to all.
Unfortunately only some take it seriously, others do not.

The congregational chanting of the holy name is imported from the spiritual world.

Lost in meditation on the transcendental chant.

Chanting awakens the natural happiness of the soul, and we want to express our joy by dancing.

The dancing is contagious, and it inspires the audience to gradually join in.

In the unified performance of the group chanting, we each have our part to play; an instrument, a dance, a song.

Dancing flows from the chanting in a natural way.

Dancing in the perfectional stage, which we aspire to attain, is nicely described as follows:
“Ecstatic love for Krishna makes Krishna and His devotees dance. It also dances personally.
In this way all three dance together in one place.” (CC Antya 18.18)

Chanting absorbs our minds in Krishna who is nondifferent from His names.
When we chant, Krishna, the object of our affection, is dancing on our tongues.

Lord Caitanya taught that our sentiments for God are gradually uncovered when we chant His holy names.

One should hear spiritual topics with one-pointed attention.

Krishna-kripa Das Meditating on Lecture

Human life is simply meant for inquiring about the absolute truth.

By one moment of association with a saintly person, all perfection can be attained.

“No one can escape the unique loving network of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu.” (CC Adi 7.37)
