Lake City-based.  I am the wife of Scott Johns and mother of Kayla (9), Emily (5), and Sarah Beth (2). We homeschool our children with an emphasis on developing godly character. This is my ninth year doing evaluations. I am certified in Primary and Elementary Education. I have proctored the CAT standardized test for 9 years or so. I taught private preschool, public school, and at the college level. I have also tutored elementary and college students.  For 5 years, I have also taught a writing workshop class for homeschoolers ranging in age from 7-17.  I enjoy doing evaluations and feel like the Lord has taught me so much through the experience of evaluating.

Belinda Richardson (352) 332-7471 (KHAWANA@msn.com) Belinda Richardson--Married to Michael for nineteen years. We have five children. I have completed twelve years of homeschooling and have been providing the service of evaluating homeschooled children for each of those twelve years. It is a pleasure to be able to enjoy the results of loving parents training their children to love the Lord and seek to follow Him in all areas of their lives. My certification is for elementary school and though I am aware I am allowed to evaluate K-12, I prefer to keep my range of evaluations from K through 6th grade. I trust the Lord to send only those He would want me to evaluate.

Referred by Juli Stewart (mrsenco@atlantic.net)

Married to Rex and has two children, Graham (17) and Sarah (11). She has homeschooled her children for 12 years and been an evaluator for 11. Nina will work with parents in providing evaluations for character-focused programs along with academic progress. She will base the academic portion of the child's evaluation on the curriculum you are using.  Just be sure to bring your child’s books to the evaluation. Nina's evaluations will consist of a review of your portfolio (log, book list, and samples of your student’s work), an interview with mom and child, and a demonstration of academic progress using the curriculum you used for the year for reading and math.  She will be happy to provide recommendations if requested. Nina is eager to see parents and children succeed at home schooling.
