The turtle lovin',
saltwater fishin', liberal-minded, nice Jewish girl, who rates a ENFJ on
the
Myers-Briggs test! Coming to you from what was the #1 city according to
MONEY Magazine, home of the "fightin' GATORS",
and sunny, tree-city
USA, Gainesville, Florida.

I'm 42 years young (as of Oct.
7th, 2002), originally from the thriving metropolis of Miami, FL
(Cutler Ridge to be exact) and came to
G'ville in 1980 to attend the
University of Florida. I somehow managed to earn a B.A. in English
(despite all the parties) and then continued on to get a Masters in
Library Science from FSU (Florida State
University.)
I have been employed by the Alachua County Library District for
almost 20 years now and I really enjoy being able to learn about the new
technologies and get paid for the learnin'. However, I hardly fit the
stereotype of the "bun and glasses" librarian. In fact, most people
think I'm a "wild" woman, but in a good way! I am not shy or quiet and
I'm definitely passionate about life!!! :-) My sense of adventure is
only limited by my budget! :-0
Anyway, I liked it so much here in G'ville that I just never left,
however someday I still intend to build on my little piece of property
right near the Gulf of Mexico in Cape Coral.
I love the sand and the sea! From boating and fishing, to snorkeling
and "see-dooing," to cruising in the Caribbean and destinations still
unknown. (I'm also a past board member of The Gainesville Offshore
Fishing Club. I have a love for turtles both land and marine
(okay, maybe an OBSESSION) since I have been collecting turtles
(knick-knacks)
since the age of 13 and am mommy to HONDA my real-live Asian Box turtle.
