OK, so these are the "Glamour Shots". I don't look like this every day, but the possibilities are there. The shots taken from the Grand Caymans are more realistic, except that I got a "wild hair" (no pun intended) one day and decided to see if blondes have more fun. So I'm a few shades lighter than these pictures and YES, I am having more fun! (Can you say "Bahama Mama?") :-)

I actually *was* a teenager in the 70s, wore bell bottoms, halter tops and tie-dyes when they were popular the first time around (of course the first time was enough) and so naturally I am partial to the classic rock of the 70s and 80s. I LOVE to dance so I venture out to clubs on occasion and can usually "shake my bootie" to the beat of today's dance music even if I'm not sure what it is I am hearing.

In '96 I went on a 4-day cruise (6/20-6/23/96) to the Bahamas on Premier Cruise Line's THE BIG RED BOAT and I can definitely say I was just as comfortable dancing to the Caribbean Rhythms and gettin' "HOT, HOT, HOT" on the conga line dahlin' as I am mellowing out to Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin or Genesis. Of course, dance IS very important to me so it isn't unusual to see me being one of the first to jump on the dance floor to make me sweat! I also can be found doing the Electric slide and Macarena fans run the risk of rubbing elbows with me too. Look out "fly girls" here I come! ;-) I've also had the pleasure to visit some Northern folks in Crosslake, Minnesota where the water in the town is 90 proof and they grow the boys real good. ;-)
Fortunately it was in the heat of the "summer" where being on the 10,000 lakes was like being in Florida. :-) Talk about partying, WHEW!

In Minneapolis I enjoyed the State Fair (boy do I like those scary rides) and even visited the MALL OF AMERICA, despite the fact that I really don't like to shop. And then there was the funky, jazzin' good time at the Miller Lite Labor Day Weekend Party in New Orleans. Can you believe... I won an all-expense paid trip for two sponsored by the Miller Brewing Company! We cruised on the paddlewheel boat, the Mississippi Queen, ate and drank at the HOUSE OF BLUES, toured the French Quarter, and the OAK ALLEY PLANTATION.

But, the BIG trip was

my pilgrimage to the Holy Land. Yes, ten fun-filled days on a tour to

Israel, with the leadership group called the Jewish National Fund. What a blast... like summer camp for adults. In 1997 I went to Key West, Dallas, a whitewater rafting trip with the Jewish Outdoor Club MOSAIC , trips to Virginia Beach, camping with MOSAIC in Waynesboro, PA, a weekend trip to DC. In 1998 I went on a nine day cruise, to the southern Caribbean, a second trip to Washington, DC to attend the UJA National Young Leadership Conference , Pensacola Beach, a trip to Montreal, my 20th high school reunion in Miami and another MOSAIC national campout in Denver. I went on my first-ever hot air balloon ride over the Rocky Mountains. Now I know what John Denver meant by "Rocky Mountain High (Colorado)!" ;-) That's just the tip of the iceberg and I am already tired just thinking about it! WHEW! ;-) This year I've been to Atlanta, New Orleans and I'm ringing in the year 2000 by taking a "millenium" cruise with my honey, Mike. I'd like to put a few more stamps in the old passport too! I haven't figured it all out yet, but I DO love to travel!

RECENT UPDATE 7/OO -- Since the New Year my honey has now become my fiance and we are planning to get married next January 14th, 2001. (Yup, 2001 a space odyssey!!) This year we took another "quickie" cruise to Nassau followed by a visit to New Orleans for the Jazz Fest in April.
LAISSEZ LES BON TEMPS ROULER!!! LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL ...
