Leadership position providing direct liaison to senior U.S. and allied units on all capabilities of the U.S. Marine Corps. Responsible for leading and training a 64-man platoon, consisting of seven teams, in all aspects of Fire Support Coordination, Communications, and warfighting skills. Key achievements:
  • Autonomously conducted two major joint exercises
  • Prepared eight teams for extended overseas deployment in support of Marine Expeditionary Unit's, to include Operation Restore Hope, Somalia
  • Maintained a communication assets account worth over $2.5 million containing over 240 pieces of equipment and 17 vehicles

  • Wrote Foreign Object Damage Standard Operating Procedure maintenance instruction. Program adopted by higher headquarters as standard. Instituted program resulted in over 200 days of foreign object damage free operations.
