Background:
-----------
        Rakehell considers you as the only person that he can trust in the
guild.  Your guildmaster found you nearly half-dead when he was adventuring some
years ago in the Iron Hills.  Took you in, clothed and converted you to not only
the ways of stealth but also to a more appealing goddess, Rudd.  You have proven
yourself time and again, and are the only one left in the guild Rakehell can
turn to and trust.  Or can he?

	Gravitating to Onnwal, Scant became home along with Rakehell's.  His
ambition and natural abilities soon made him the leader of all thieves there.
Though the city is small, recent actions by the Scarlet Brotherhood has
definitely spiced things up.  You've managed so far to block any assassination
attempts on Rakehell and he has not capitulated to the Scarlet Brotherhood as
they bring much of the city under their heal.

	Considering your options, Rakehell and you agree the safer of the two
courses will be overland.  Not wanted to chance a confrontation with The Scarlet
Brotherhood, or to let the letter fall into their hands.  Besides Rakehell was
never to fond of ships.  The first few days of the trip were pretty uneventful
but then we started to see riders in the distance, garbed in the clothes of the
Scarlet Brotherhood!

	Betrayed!  Someone from the guild must have seen us leaving and reported
it to the Brotherhood.  Riding hard for days and through many scirmishes, after
many hours of hiding we've seemed to evade them.  Both of us are very injured,
losing three horses, and not having eaten in about three days though we continue
on towards Magepoint.  Tumbling threw the door of the Inn, battered and half
starved Rakehell and you scan the interior of the room.
