Tactical The Channel 3 on fire dept radios varies from dept to dept, but the first two channels are the same for everybody. The Gilchrist Sheriff's Office went to a three repeater system about two months ago. The local sheriff is keeping the frequencies a big secret, but they are already published in Police Call and they weren't hard to find with my freq counter and scanner. The input frequencies are around 158.000 to 159.999. The DOF frequencies you have look good. CH 1 159.315 statewide mobile to mobile CH 6 159.390 Levy Co and Marion Co CH 7 159.405 Gilchrist Alachua and Putnam Co Red 154.265 we use it for mobile to mobile sometimes White 154.280 same Blue 154.295 same Most of the listening is pretty routine around here, but like any frequency you can always pick up some good traffic. All of these frequencies are good as of today. I use them personally or listen to them everyday. There is no plans currently for going to any other system at this time.
