Adding Your Name To My Charts

The reason for the blackout of the information is BECAUSE you are still living and we must respect everyone's rights to privacy. I have tried to make every attempt not to make any information available about you without your permission by removing any information about those individuals now living. If you would like to see your information listed, please let me know and - if everyone ABOVE you in the line agrees to have THEIR information made available also (in order to list you, I may have to also list another living individual above you in the line - your parents and grandparents, for example), then we'll print that line. But we DO have to be careful here...

The Internet has opened many and varied new ways of getting information about people - whether those people want their info handed out or not in a lot of cases. An example? Well, ever wonder how those unscrupulous individuals get ahold of your email address and then send you that junk email every other day that clutters up in your electronic mailbox? Well, one method they use - which is, I believe, illegal - is by using those electronic mailing lists that you `subscribe' to to get more information about, say, your favorite hobby. They use the names in that mailing list and then send you the junk email relating to your hobby. I do not wish to offer these individuals an alternative method of obtaining your information and, thereby, supporting their unscrupulous operations by offering them `free' information about you.

However, if you would like to see your name listed in any of the charts, please send me a letter giving me your specific permission to do so, with your cursive/script signature, to:

Please be sure to specifically list all charts you would like to see your name listed in. (Example: Tolmie, Disbrow, etc.)

You may also wish to get in touch with your parents and grandparents, if they are still living, and have them also send me their own permission to list their names as well. I cannot list you without also listing your antecendents. And if they also do not agree to this, I must refuse, too, to list your name in these lists. I apologize if this causes any inconvenience. But, as I said, I have to respect everyone else's rights to privacy, too.

Mind you, all that I will be listing is perhaps your full name - and that's it. Unless you specifically tell me to include it, I will not be including any other information such as your birthdate, birth location, current residence, or anything like that.
