The Casa Museum

Ahh, my first homepage. Seems like just yesterday that I took a course in web design and erected my first virtual presence. Looking back at it 3 years later, it really is quite ugly, but so were most personal homepages at that point in time. In fact, a lot are pretty ugly today too. As bad as this page looks in retrospect, it still holds a special place in my heart. Some of its features are still alive in casa today. casa 1 -- the one and only

casa 2 -- the lost years Tired of the look of my homepage, I dedicated my time to creating a new look. This, unfortunately, was the best I could come up with, as my HTML and general design skills were still developing.  I'm not really sure what I was thinking with this page. Mainly, I just dug the title image that I had made, and was partial to the color scheme that I chose. I really don't recall having this page around for very long, and am  reluctant to call it Version 2. Maybe 1.5... This page will NOT look right with any resolution other than 800 x 600.

It think of this page as the final realization of what I had started with casa 2. The color scheme remained in tact, but the page as a whole got a nice tight, compact  look. It's pretty interesting to look back at this page, because it doesn't  look like any other version of casa, or any other page I've ever designed. Notable due to the fact that it's the first page that used a font other than Times or Courier.  casa 3 -- rebirth and realization

casa 4 -- old glory Version 4 is is the longest running version of casa. The main page design was put into use on November 11th, 1998, with the last significant change made in November of 1999. With a bright, fun look, casa 4 was designed to be simple. Images were kept small, with most of the subpages having no images and a plain white background. For some reason,  I really dug (and still dig) the use of primary colors..
