Scholarship Funding for AORN Membership
April, 2000

I. Chapter Membership Dues.

  1. Chapter dues will be waived for student nurses in their senior year of nursing school.

II. National Membership dues.

Chapter 1016 will pay national membership dues, with chapter dues waived, for a RN in the OR with less than one year OR experience or for a Student Nurse in their senior year of nursing school.

    1. Selection will be based upon a written request, by the candidate, stating why they are deserving of the scholarship/interested in perioperative nursing.

    2. Candidate to be selected by the Board of Directors.

    3. Two scholarships will be awarded each year.
