It has been a fast, busy and fun filled year as chapter president. I have learned a lot. I would like to thank every chapter member for a wonderful year. Everyone is important to this chapter. I would especially like to thank the members who found time in their busy schedules to attend meeting and /or volunteered their time to different offices, committees or activities in the chapter. Chapter member involvement is what makes the difference. By being involved we go from a 123 local member chapter to being part of a 45,000 international member organization.

It has been my pleasure and honor to serve as your chapter president. I want to thank all of those who shared their time, wisdom, and knowledge with me. And I want to thank Nan Hanauer for graciously accepting the president-elect position knowing that she would have only a month as president-elect before being president. Please offer her your support during the year.

The chapter surveys will be in the mail soon. Please take some time to fill these out. This is your chapter and your officers need to know how we can best meet your needs.

The Florida Nursing Students Associations’ convention will be held November 1-4, 2000 in Daytona Beach. The FCORN will again present their hands-on-demonstration at three separate sessions on Thursday, November 2, from 0845-1015, 1030-1215, and 1230-1400.
