A.O.R.N. CHAPTER 1016 APRIL BUSINESS MEETING MINUTES

EDUCATIONAL PRESENTATION: ANNUAL AORN CONGRESS UPDATE: PRESENTED OVERVIEW OF

SEVERAL SESSIONS AND PROGRAMS THAT IMPACT AORN AND PEROPERATIVE NURSING.

Delegates and Alternates reports

Meeting called to order: A special thanks to Terry and Sandy for coordinating the T-Shirt

booth at Congress. A special thanks also to Sally Moore and Kathy Brown

for manning the T-Shirt booth and making it such a successful part of our

chapter fund raising.

TREASURER'S REPORT: $3,106.40 Balance; T-Shirt sales $1,615.00/reimursment by

AORN:$160 for total $4881.40

Thanks to Sandy for March presentation at Ayres on the AORN Fire Safety Tools

Old Business:

1.Tee-shirt update: sale at Congress wiped out the Large and Extra Large

sizes plus much of all the rest that were taken to the Convention. Pat Stewart

last month had a large sale of t-shirts.

2. Golf Outing: have decided to target fall, probably October for the next

outing and have it in Ocala. Libby Weaver to gather information about what is

available at local course and present at May meeting if possible.

New Business:

1. Candidate Slate for 2007-2008 will include:

Nominating Committee: 2 members

Chapter Board: 2 members

We are looking for volenteers for the above slate. Please contact Sandy or

Justine if interested

Slate to be presented and decided upon at May meeting.

Dinner meeting in June: tentatively Thursday June 21st at Cross Creek

Resturant

Next meeting, May 17th at the Aesthetic Center in Ocala
