PRESENTATION:  Brooks Collins from Kyphon presented “Balloon Kyphoplasty: A Minimally Invasive Treatment for Vertebral Compression Fractures”.

 

BUSINNESS MEETING:

            Election of new officers:  Ballots will be mailed one week before the installation dinner.

New officers, board and nominating committee members:

Nominating committee:  Sandy Burnett & Terry Glover will remain on the committee.

Jill Schmeck and Lucy Sprawl will be candidates to fill 2 positions.

Jim Shelley will be the non-voting chairperson.

Treasurer:  Pat Stewart will continue to be treasurer until 2006.

Secretary:  Sara Logue will be the candidate.

Board: Terry Glover and Ginny Nelson will continue thru 2006.  Libby Weaver and Diane Goldman will be candidates to fill 2 positions.

President Elect: Justine Busch.

 

The installation dinner is tentatively set for the Olive Garden in Ocala on June 16^th,2005. Confirmation information will be included with the Ballots.

 

Treasurers report:

As of April 1^st, 2005 we have $3210.82 with one check for $21.80 and deposits of $120.00 and $40.00=total of $3349.02
