CTO: 7pm at Shands Hospital, Gainsville, Florida

Program: Tom Macheski presented "Perioperative Online Nursing Documentation". It

was a presentation of the new computer program for nurses charting in the

OR at Shands Hospital in Gainsville.

Business Meeting:

Present: Jim Shelley, Pres., Kathy Brown, Pres. Elect, Marianne Lonergan,

Secretary, and board members Justine Busch, and Linda Sigsby.

No treasurers report given. The treasurer for Chapter 1016 Eileen Nogueiras has

resigned. A new treasurer will be appointed.

Golf tournament: The chapter golf tournament will be held March 6,2004 at

Plantation Oaks golf course in Ocala. It will be a morning start. The golf

committee is looking for fees of $60/pp or $240/team. There will be 14 teams.

The fees will include lunch.

Congress: The deadline for early registration is Feb.6^th. The fee must be received

at national by that date. A board meeting will verify the final delegates. There

is potential for 5 delegates. Thus far Jim Shelley, Justine Busch, Wes Williams,

Tom Macheski and Linda Sigsby are going. Tom will be a national candidate

for the nominating committee again this year.

A board meeting is scheduled on Fri. Jan. 23^rd. at 5pm at Ruby Tuesdays in Ocala.

Febuary meeting will be at Munroe Regional Medical Center in Ocala at 7pm.

The program will be an AIDS update by Bonnie Stevens.
