OCTOBER MINUTES

 

 

 

Meeting called to order at 7pm by Jim Shelley, President.

 

Quorum present.

 

Present: Jim Shelley, Wes Williams, Justine Busch, Linda Sigsby, Marianne Lonergan, &

              Tom Macheski.

Speaker for the meeting was Dr. Lawrence Levine MD, Opthomologist  who presented a program on Pediatric Eye Problems & Surgery.

 

A reminder that FCORN is this Friday, Saturday & Sunday in Gainsville.  Registration is Friday noon with an early evening advisory round table and cocktail party.

Saturday includes 8am registration followed by speakers, inservices & exhibits.

Sunday the speakers begin at 8:30am.

Volunteers are needed to help during the days on Saturday and Sunday.

 

November 9-15^th is Perioperative Nurse Week.  Link of events is on the AORN website.  Click under “events”.

 

Meeting for November is at the Surgical Center of Ocala. Meeting starts at & 7pm.  Speaker to be announced.
