AORN CHAPTER 1016 NORTH CENTRAL FLORIDA

APRIL BOARD MEETING

 

 

April 10, 2003

 

The meeting was called to order by Wes Williams at 5:30 PM, at the Olive Garden restaurant, Ocala, Florida.

 

PRESENT: Wes Williams, Patricia Stewart, Jim Shelley, and Bonnie Tobias.

 

IN ATTENDANCE: Sally Moore.

 

QUORUM: Present.

 

DISCUSSION:

v      It was announced by several board members present that Nan Hanauer has informed them that she is joining another AORN chapter and is therefore no longer a member of our chapter and has relinquished her duties as co-chair of the FCORN seminar.  Jim Shelley and Wes Williams have agreed to co-chair the FCORN seminar.

 

v      Sally Moore announced the slate of chapter officers for 2003-2004:

                PRESIDENT ELECT [1] -Kathy Brown

                SECRETARY [1] -Marianne Lonergan

BOARD of DIRECTORS [2] -Linda Sigsby, Diane Goldman, and Justine Bush

                NOMINATING COMMITTEE [3]-Tom Macheski, and Sally Moore.

The third position to be filled on the nominating committee is to replace Nan Hanauer.

 

v      Sam Snead’s restaurant in Ocala, Florida is the tentative location for the chapter installation dinner.

Jim Shelley will talk to Paul Vogt about the arrangements for the chapter to meet there.  The installation dinner will be held on June 16, 2003 at 6:30 PM.

 

The chair adjourned the meeting at 6:30 PM.
