Designated Contact With Florida Board of Nursing for CE Provider Number Policy

The individual designated to sign Chapter 1016 Certificates of attendance shall be the Chairperson of the Programs Committee. This individual will also serve as the designated contact person for all provider number status correspondence with the Florida Board of Nursing. This individual will be appointed to this position by the AORN of North Central Florida Executive Committee (Officers and Board of Directors) after expressing a willingness to serve in this position. All members of AORN are registered professional nurses, which meets the requirement that the contact person be a registered nurse. The duties of the Chair of the Programs Committee also include making arrangements for educational programs, and maintaining the records required for those programs and continuing education.
