In the US, the majority of the people is Christian. Their wedding
are held at churches, and their funerals are also there. On the other
hand, in Japan, most of the people are buddhist, but it is popular, not
always, that people hold weddings at churches. And nearly 100% of
the funerals are Buddhism style. Many Japanese doesn't care religion.
It is also holiday on December 25th in Japan. On the day, Japanese
eat Christmas cake, and parents give gifts to their children while children's
are sleeping. It lets children think Santa Clause brought the gifts.
Many shops are open as usual not like in the US. It might be more
important for the economy than to stay with families at home because many
people go out for shopping, dinner, or just hanging around.
