1:14p ~ I have no witty title, and I must update!
Man, that just sucks. Oh well. On with the update.
As you can see, I put the old Setzer pics back. And there was much rejoicing. Yay. My Halloween color scheme never got anywhere. Oh well. If I could just figure out PHP, I could probably code the site to change colors based on the holiday... Maybe I should talk to Yarx about that... *wanders off*
So far, I've had a grand total of 4 votes in my poll. And, as luck would have it, it's tied. So, if you haven't voted, please do.
I've got a new Link of the Moment. This time around, it's Final Fantasy Hackster by Disch. For now, the old LotM's will be moved to the Links page.
Finally, I'm wondering if I should just remove the message board. Nobody seems to post there anymore...
11:34a ~ Stuff and ...stuff.
First of all, I've changed the poll, asking: Do you hack ROMs? For the old poll, Should I Change My Layout/Design, the final results were 66% No, 33% Yes. So, it looks like I'll be keeping this layout/design for awhile longer. Still, if you have a design you'd like to show me, feel free to contact me about it. My only requirements are that it's free, and easy to update.
On a related note, I've added some (non-flash) nav buttons. I made 'em myself, using MS Paint, and Paint Shop Pro 7. Of course, that's how I make all of my graphics. And people say that MS Paint sucks. 'Course, they also say PhotoShop is good...
With the release (and several re-releases) of Final Fantasy Hackster v1.0, I've resumed work on my FF1 hack. Not that most of you knew I was doing one in the first place...
I haven't decided yet if I'll be releaseing any
patches before I finish it. Knowing me, I probably will.And finally, I plan to start hosting FF1 tilesets. Thanks to Hackster's ability to import custom graphics, this will help those like me who hack ROMs but can't draw, or can't draw in 8-bits.... If you have any graphics you'd like to submit, please go to my message boards, and post them in the Home Grown forum.

OK, I just found out from Sarev0k that Ganon is upgrading his server, so that site is down. Ganon just assured me it should be up by the end of the night tonight. Since I have to work tonight, I'll update the CJB.Net redirect to point back to the site on Ganon's box sometime tomorrow (Monday).
3:53p ~ Worms?! I HATE worms!
I managed to get online for a little bit last night, and I talked to Yarx. He informed me that Ganon's box will be down a little longer than anticipated thanks to a lovely thing called Nimda. I swear, if I were in charge, ANYONE who makes a virus would be shoved down the deepest, darkest hole we can find, and left there to rot.
Anyway, it may be awhile before my main site is back up.
12:31p ~ X is bad
Well, what can I say? My little banner above was close. It actually looks like this. Funny, ain't it. And I think this pic (WARNING: May Offend!) sums up the console pretty well.
Speaking of assholes, and asses in general, some dumbass came into my place of employment to buy an Xcrement Box at 9am. We didn't start selling them until one minute after midnight. He wated 15 hours to waste $300. Now that, my friends, is a prime example of a dumbass. Of course, he wasn't alone, he just waited the longest. I dunno how many people were there, since I clock out at 11pm, but I do know we had a whopping 16 of them. And, of those 16, only 15 were sold to the General Public. We (my place of employment, not me personally) bought one to raffle off. The money is going to a worthy cause, the Children's Miracle Network, but if you ask me (which you didn't, but that's never stopped me before...), the CMN would be better off getting the money recovered from making a drug bust. IMNSHO, that money is a lot cleaner.
2:11p ~ Random Sanity
Small update this time. I've added a little JAVAScript thingy to make the page display a different logo every time the page is loaded. Yay. Of course, it'd probably look better if I had more than 3 logos... >_<
And, on a note semi-related to the last update, the Nintendo GameCube goes on sale tonight at my place of employment. We have 40 units for sale. I find it nice to know that we have more than twice as many as we had Xcrement Boxes.
